In 2020 Erasmus + Strategic partnerships for innovation development field 239 projects were submitted and only 7 organizations could be funded. One of the 7 organizations was Uskudar District National Education directorate with the NGSS project Next Generation Science Standards through STEAM– NGSS- 2020-1-TR01-KA201-094463. The first online management meeting as Kick off was held under the management of Uskudar District National Education directorate on 28th January 2021 with the partners as Center for Creative Training Association-CCTA /Bulgaria, Panevezys District Education Centre- Lithuania, DANMAR Computers SP ZOO-Poland, The University of Crete-The Department of Preschool Education-UoC/Greece, Universitate Valahia Targovista –Science Education Department UVT/ Romania, Bahçeşehir Schools-BEKAŞ/ Turkey. NGSS project’s main aim is to promote STEM+Arts in early education through a novel approach, integration of interactive approaches (e.g. drama, gamified learning, physical education etc.), social and emotional skills as well as cognitive skills, removing emotional and conceptual barriers to science learning in early education. During the transversal meeting the first output of the project as Concept Paper for Early Childhood Education related to STEM+Arts was negotiated. Local matching session interviews with the focus group, desk research reports are the milestones of the Concept Paper. In this context need analysis will be specified through the local matching session interviews with the focus groups as primary and pre-primary teachers, parents, STEM professionals and artists. In the meeting, NGSS project’s other outputs as local training workshops, OER (Open Educational Resource) AuReSSEL platform was negotiated. Valahia Targoviste University Romania as the leader of Concept Paper and the University of Crete-The Department of Preschool Education-UoC/Greece as the leader of evaluation will have a bilateral meeting under the management of Uskudar District National Education directorate on 5th February, 2021.
